In the heart of Sitges, this 350 sqm home was created by merging two traditional townhouses into one light-filled family retreat. Original patio doors, generous garden views and strong natural light gave the property remarkable character from the outset.
Our clients, a London-based family with deep roots in Spain, wanted more than a holiday house — they were looking for a home that would feel effortless to arrive to, elegant to live in, and easy to enjoy across long family stays. Through full spatial reorganisation, bespoke joinery and a carefully layered material palette, we transformed the property into a modern-classic Mediterranean home designed for real family living.
The ground floor was completely reimagined so the kitchen, dining and living areas now flow as one. Centred around pool views and easy garden access, the new layout makes everyday family life feel more connected, sociable and intuitive.
Warm sand-toned porcelain laid in herringbone runs through the house and all seven bathrooms, creating visual continuity across 350 sqm, while cornices and mouldings frame the spaces with elegant proportion and timeless character. These classical details elevate the home beyond decoration, giving it a more timeless architectural language.
The master bedroom was transformed into a true parents’ retreat, complete with a bespoke headboard, walk-in wardrobe and a panoramic bathroom with freestanding tub and shower. It brings together comfort, elegance and the feeling of escape clients often want from a home in Sitges.
All five en-suite bedrooms were tailored to the way the family actually lives, with bespoke storage, integrated nightstands, dimmable LED lighting, reading lamps and hand-crafted headboards creating a calm and highly functional space.
Dramatic guest bedroom wrapped in blue velvet, and Cruella de Vil accent cushions, each space was designed to feel individual yet connected to the house as a whole.
Each of the seven bathrooms was given a distinct personality while remaining visually coherent with the wider project. Texture, colour palette and material continuity create variety without fragmentation.
The attic became a generous games room with theatrical atmosphere for football nights and family downtime, alongside a quieter workspace by the window. It reflects the kind of flexible, multi-use living many international families are looking for in a second home.

Jimena brought a superb combination of creative & design, technical knowledge and project management. She conducts herself in a professional manner, always on time and her attention to detail is very high.
